Shine a Light
Through this program we shine a light on sports teams and individuals who have achieved something special or extraordinary. They need not be the fastest, biggest or best. We are looking for the stories about people and teams who display character and tenacity that the world should know about. The people and stories that don’t make the headlines. The quiet achievers. The ones that are too often overlooked. The Wild Dogs. Help us find them, and help us shine a light on them.
We're looking for the Wild Dogs
The Wild Dogs are teams, members of a team, or individuals who have exhibited the characteristics of our brand’s inspiration, the African Wild Dog, to achieve something special in their field.
Wild dogs are caring, social and value each individual’s uniqueness. They use team work and co-ordination to achieve a common objective. They value stamina over stealth.

The prize
Each month Wild Dog Sports will offer a prize of R2 000 to the most deserving submission.
All submissions will be highlighted on the Wild Dog Sports website and shared across our social media channels.
Wild Dog Sports is building relationships with corporate sponsors to support the Wild Dogs ‘Shine A Light’ program. Talent hides in unexpected places. We are going to uncover it, share it, and help to nurture and grow it. Because our future depends on it.
How to enter

Nominate an individual or team and record a short (max 1 minute) video telling us what makes them so special, and why they deserve to be our Wild Dog Shine a Light Winner.

Post your video on social media using #shinealight and tag Wild Dog Sports. Each month the winning submission receives a prize of R 2 000.
